THE COLLEGE
Founded in 1973, in a serene atmosphere 3 km
away from Coimbatore city on Coimbatore - Ooty Road, Kongunadu Arts and Science
College has now risen to be one of the leading Educational Institutions of
Coimbatore City for Higher Education. The vision of the College is to develop
the total personality of every student in a holistic way adhering to the
principles of Swami Vivekananda and Mahatma Gandhi.

SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION
FORM
Application for admission to the under graduate and post
graduate courses should be submitted to the principal within 10 days from the
publication of results of the Higher Secondary Examination of Government of
Tamil Nadu and the publication for UG results of the Bharathiar University,
respectively.

SELECTION AND ADMISSION
i) Selection will be made on the basis of
the guidelines given by the college, the University and the Government of Tamil
Nadu.
ii) Admission Card will be sent to the provisionally selected
candidates.
iii) Selected candidates should pay the prescribed fees on the
date specified by the College. Failing which, their admission get cancelled
automatically.
iv) A student who leaves the College in the middle of the year
should pay the full fee for that year to get their certificate from the
College
v) If a student is absent continuously for more than five days from
the date of admission or reopening, whichever is later, his / her name will be
struck off from the Roll Register.
vi) Admission will be made taking into
consideration the weighed marks of the candidate and according to Government
Rules of Reservation for Backward. Most Backward and SC/ST communities. 3% of
the seats are reserved for Physically Handicapped candidates and 4 seats in all
UG courses taken together for children of Ex-Servicemen.
vii) “ADMISSION IS
SUBJECT TO VERIFICATION OF MARK CERTIFICATES BY THE DIRECTOR OF GOVERNMENT
EXAMINATIONS AND IF THE MARK CERTIFICATE IS FOUND TO BE BOGUS, ADMISSION IS
LIABLE FOR CANCELLATION BESIDES CRIMINAL ACTION BEING
TAKEN”.

produce the Income certificate from the revenue authorities at the time of
admission itself.
HOSTEL
Separate, well furnished
hostels for men and women students are available within the College campus with
veg. & non-veg. mess facilities.

Outstation students
who wish to stay outside the College hostel are permitted to stay only in
