Applications are invited for one post of a Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in a CSIR - sponsored project entitled “Development of domain wall free Fe-Ta-C based soft magnetic thin films”, at the Department of Physics, IIT Guwahati. The appointment will be on contract basis for one (1) year and may be extended based on performance.

Qualification and Experience:

M. Sc in Physics or B. Tech. (Engg. Physics) or equivalent with GATE / NET & two years of research experience. The two years research experience will be relaxed in case of candidates having M. Tech. in related fields. Such candidates should have qualified GATE.

Pay:

SRF: Rs.14,000 p.m. (consolidated). In addition HRA & Medical Facilities as per Institute rules.
