Eighth Programme on "Technology Led Entrepreneurship"

Objective
The objective of this programme is to inculcate the spirit of technological entrepreneurship amongst our Research Scholars to enable them to learn how to take knowledge based innovations through to a commercial outcome. The skills learned during the programme would help the scholars to enhance their expertise in technology commercialization and business development.
The programme also seeks to kindle the sprit of `intrapreneurship' (Corporate Entrepreneurship) in the participants, through which they can take on entrepreneurial roles in large organizations in the course of their employment subsequent to completion of their doctoral programme.
Eligibility criteria for participants
- Research Scholars [JRF, SRF, RA from Science & Engineering Stream] availing fellowships of any central agency [CSIR, UGC, ICMR, ICAR, DAE, DRDO, DST, DBT] in universities and R & D organizations and having at least one year of research experience are eligible to apply for this programme.
- Research Scholars working as Women Scientists under DST scheme and having at least one year of research experience are also eligible to apply for this programme.
- GATE qualified M.Tech students, Project Assistants registered for Ph.D and Research Scholars working in externally funded project in CSIR Labs and having a minimum of one year of research experience are also eligible.

Eligible Research Scholars willing to participate can download the Application Form and Recommendation Form. The filled in Application Form and Recommendation Form (complete in all respect) must be sent Through Proper Channel to:

Application and Recommendation forms complete in all respect must reach to us on or before May 25, 2011.
Selection of the Participants
Since the seats are limited, the applications will be evaluated by the Screening Committee and candidates selected for participation will be informed accordingly. The decision of the Screening Committee will be final and no enquiry will be entertained in this regard.
Boarding & Lodging
Selected participants will be provided free boarding, lodging and course material during the programme. No registration Fee will be charged.
Travel
The expenses towards travel (from place of work to IICT Hyderabad and back) will be borne by the participants (either from their contingency research grant or through their respective organizations).
Participantion Certificate
The participants will be given a certificate of participation on successful completion of the programme. It is expected that the participants will be regular in attending the programme, and perform well in the weekly tests that will be conducted during the programme.
