Applications are invited from Indian Nationals for the following Positions:

·      Professor (Pay Scale : Rs.16400-22400) : 20 posts (Bio Technology -1, Chemical Engg.-1), Computer Science & Engg.-3, Electronics and Communication Engg.-3, Industrial Engg-1, Instrumentation and Control Engg.-3, Mechanical Engg.-1, Textile Technology-2, Mathematics-2, Physics-1, Qualification : Ph.D. with first class Degree at Master's or Bachelor's level in the appropriate branch of Engineering and Technology/Science with a good academic record throughout. A minimum of 10 years teaching/research/professional experience, out of which 5 years must be at the level of Assistant Professor or equivlaent, in an institute of higher learning/profession.

·      Assistant Professor (Pay Scale : Rs.12000-18300) : 24 posts (Bio technology -1, Chemical Engg.-1, Civil Engg.-3, Computer Sc. & Engg.-4, Electronics & Communication Engg.-4, Industrial Engg.-2, Instrumentation and Control Engg.-3, Mechanical Engg-4, Textile Technology-2), Qualification : Ph.D. with first class Degree at Master's or Bachelor's level in the appropriate branch of Engineering and Technology/ Science with a good academic record throughout. A minimum of 3 years teaching/research/Professional experience in an institute of higher learning/Profession.

·      Lecturer (Pay Scale : Rs.8000-13500) : 09 posts (Bio Technology-1, Chemical Engg-1, Cvil Engg-2, Computer sc. & Engg-1, Humanities (Psy) -1, Instrumentation anc control Engg-1, Chemistry-1, Physics-1), Qualification : M.Tech./M.Phil. with first division at Master's or Bachelor's level in the appropriate branch of Engineering and Technology/ Science/ humanitites. Candidate with Ph.D. qualification will be preferred.

Application forms can be obtained from the Register by sending a crossed DD of Rs.500/- (Rs.250 for SC/ST) in favour of the institute. The last date for receipt of complete application is 11/12/2007.
