The latter can be obtained by sending a crossed Demand Draft of Rs. 500/-(Rs. 250/- for SC/ST categories) drawn in favour of "Director, Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Surat", payable at Surat with self-addressed envelope (25cm x 12cm ) affixed with postage stamps of Rs. 25/- super-scribed on application clearly for M. Tech. (Research) or Ph. D. Programme or in person from the Academic section on payment of Rs. 500/- (Rs. 250/- for SC/ST candidate) by cash.
An Application form with information brochure can also be downloaded from the above website and such form duly filled in must be sent with crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour of "Director, Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology" of Rs. 500/- (Rs. 250/- for SC/ST categories) payable at Surat.
