The above vacancies are now in existence. The ranked list published as per this notification will be valid until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked for the above mentioned communities but remain unfilled due to the paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published.(Please see the date of ranked list mentioned above) for the post.
Age limit:- Must have completed 22 (twenty two) years and must not have completed 40 (Forty ) years of age as on 1.1.2009 with usual relaxations to SC/ST/OBC candidates. (For conditions regarding other age relaxation Please see para (2) of the General Conditions)
Scale of Pay:- Rs.8,000-13,500
Qualifications:-
1. Masters Degree in the concerned subjects with at least 55% marks or its equivalent and good academic record.
2. Must have passed a Comprehensive Test in the concerned subjects specifically conducted for the purpose by UGC or any agency duly constituted by the State Government in this behalf. When qualifications are being equal preference shall be given to candidates who possess adequate knowledge in Malayalam.
Note (i).For SC/ST candidates minimum 50% marks for Masters Degree shall be sufficient.
(ii).For Ph.D holders who have passed Masters Degree prior to 19.09.1991,50% marks for Masters Degree shall be sufficient.
(iii) Candidates who have obtained Ph.D Degree in the concerned subject or have passed M.Phil Degree in the concerned subject by 31.12.1993 are exempted from passing the NET examination.
(iv) Whenever the requirement for a Lecturer in a particular subject to be taught in Sanskrit, candidates with MA (special) in the subject to be taught alone shall be eligible for selection.
(v) For recruitment to various posts under these rules Degrees awarded by the Universities recognized by UGC alone shall be considered.
Method of appointment:- Direct Recruitment.(Recruitment from candidates belonging to reservation groups of Kerala State only mentioned in this notification. But applications of SC Candidates will also be considered in the absence of ST candidates and vice versa.)
Note:-Applications of candidates belonging to other than the communities mentioned in this notification will be summarily rejected. Individual rejection memo will not be sent to them.
How to Apply
The applications can be submitted by Online facility only from 14.01.2010 provided in the Website of the Kerala Public Service Commission. . No application fee is required. The barcode number in the application form shall be quoted in all further enquiries/correspondence. Documents to prove
qualification, age and community etc. have to be produced as and when called for interview. Application which are submitted not in accordance with the instructions given in the Website will be summarily rejected.
Last date for receipt of applications:- 17/02/2010 Wednesday upto 5 PM.
