SIPIS2010 - SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME FOR INDIAN STUDENTS
SIPIS 2010 (17 May – 19 July 2010)

The Department of Physics of the National University of Singapore (NUS) invites graduate students from Indian Universities and Indian Institutes to participate in summer internship programme SIPIS-2010. During the programme, participants will be introduced to NUS research environment, interact with NUS professors and complete a project that is related to ongoing research.
SIPIS-2010 is targeted at Indian graduate students (M.Sc. or M.Tech.) who will have completed their M.Sc. or M.Tech. in May 2011. More advanced students may apply as well. All participants will be attached to the Physics Department, NUS, for a minimum of 8 weeks and a maximum of 10 weeks, starting 17 May 2010. They will be accommodated on NUS campus and will receive a daily allowance sufficient to cover expenses in Singapore. Travel grants are available on a competitive basis.
